  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon instant chicken stock (optional)

Instructions

  1. To make the baked chicken wings: In a small bowl or shallow plate, combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, Cayenne, pepper, salt, and instant chicken stock.
  2. Arrange the chicken wings: Place the chicken wings in a large salad bowl, drizzle with oil, sprinkle with the spice mix, and coat the chicken thoroughly. Rest for 30 minutes or overnight in the fridge.
  3. Preheat and bake: Preheat the oven to 450ºF (230ºC). Spread the chicken wings on a baking sheet and bake at 340ºF (170ºC) for 50-60 minutes. Flip the wings halfway through if desired.

Notes

  • For extra spicy wings, double the spice amounts.
  • Adjust spice levels to taste.
  • Use a digital thermometer to ensure wings reach 165°F (70ºC) internally.
