Onion Bites:
- 1 large sweet onion or 2 medium onions
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon each thyme and oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- Oil for frying
Dipping Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 2 teaspoons ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
