  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 ¼ cups half and half
  • ½ lb. medium pasta shells
  • 3 ½ cups broccoli florets (uncooked)
  • ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese (finely grated into a powder)

Seasonings:

  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Prep Ingredients: Cut broccoli into smaller pieces.
  2. Cook Garlic: Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add Liquids: Pour in chicken broth, half and half, and seasonings. Bring to a boil.
  4. Cook Pasta: Add pasta, cook partially covered per package instructions. Add broccoli for the last 6 minutes.
  5. Check Pasta: Taste for doneness. Cook longer if needed.
  6. Finish: Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and Parmesan cheese until creamy.
