Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large jar, add the coarse ground coffee, bruised and roughly chopped lemongrass stalks, and kaffir lime leaves. This forms the flavorful base of your cold brew.
  2. Add Water: Pour in the filtered water and stir gently to ensure that all the coffee grounds are fully saturated with water and the flavors start to meld together.
  3. Refrigerate to Brew: Cover the jar and place it in the refrigerator for 16 hours to allow the coffee and aromatics to steep slowly.
  4. Strain Mixture: After brewing, strain the cold brew concentrate through a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth to remove coffee grounds, lemongrass pieces, and kaffir lime leaves. For a smoother texture, strain twice.
