Liquid Ingredients:

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 8 oz mafalda pasta (uncooked)
  • 2 ½ cups beef broth
  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Brown: Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into smaller pieces. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add Seasonings: Stir in dried minced onion, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add Liquid: Pour in marinara sauce, uncooked pasta, beef broth, and milk. Stir well to combine and deglaze the pot.
  4. Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer for about 15 minutes until pasta is cooked and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  5. Melt Cheese: Stir in shredded mozzarella cheese until melted.
