  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Oil, for deep frying

For the Peach Hot Honey Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 120 ml peach preserves
  • 60 ml hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare Fryer: Preheat a deep fryer to 175°C (350°F) and ready your work area.
  2. Season Chicken: Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels, then season evenly with paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Make Sauce Base: Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat; add minced garlic and sauté until aromatic.
  4. Finish Sauce: Incorporate hot sauce, soy sauce, and peach preserves into the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened to a syrupy consistency. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. Fry Chicken Wings: Lower chicken wings into hot oil in batches. Fry for 12–15 minutes, turning as needed, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Drain Wings: Transfer fried wings to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
