Instructions

  3. Coat Sticks: Dip each frozen mozzarella stick half into the beaten egg, then roll it thoroughly in the flour mixture to coat. For a thicker crust, repeat the egg and flour dipping process once more on each stick.
  4. Freeze Again: Place the breaded mozzarella sticks on a tray and freeze them for 30 to 60 minutes to help the coating adhere and prevent cheese from oozing during cooking.
  5. Cook – Air Fryer Option: Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Arrange the sticks in a single layer and air fry for 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Cook – Oven Option: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the sticks on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they turn crisp and golden.
  7. Cook – Frying Option: Heat oil in a shallow pan to 350°F (175°C). Shallow fry the mozzarella sticks until they become golden and crisp, then transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.
