  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Brewed Coffee (hot)

Chocolate Coffee Frosting:

  • 340 g Butter
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/3 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup Brewed coffee (cold)
  • 80 g Dark chocolate (melted and cooled)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare two 8-inch baking pans with cooking spray and parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Mix in eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla until almost combined.
  4. Incorporate coffee: Pour in hot coffee and mix until smooth.
