Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a cupcake/muffin pan with cupcake liners.
  2. Prepare dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar: In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar until thick and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla: Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, beating well after each addition.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Alternate adding the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
