This Pumpkin Spice Syrup is perfect for adding a warm, seasonal flavor to your favorite teas and coffees. Made with real pumpkin puree and a blend of aromatic spices, it’s a delightful way to elevate your beverages.

Ingredients

Scale

Pumpkin Spice Syrup:

  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree (fresh or canned, not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook Pumpkin and Spices: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the pumpkin puree, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Cook for about 1 minute to remove the raw pumpkin taste.
  2. Add Water and Sugar: Pour water and sugar into the saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves and the pumpkin puree is fully blended.
  3. Strain and Store: Remove from heat. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into an airtight container. Allow to cool before sealing and storing in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
