Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 23 tablespoons honey, sugar, or sweetener of choice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Garnish Ideas

  • More fresh raspberries
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Add the base ingredients to a blender: Combine raspberries, whole milk, Greek yogurt, honey (or your preferred sweetener), salt, and vanilla extract into a blender container.
  2. Blend until smooth: Blend all the ingredients for about 20-30 seconds until the mixture turns smooth and well combined.
  3. Strain the seeds: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or large measuring cup to remove raspberry seeds, pressing gently to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the seeds.
  4. Freeze: Transfer the smooth mixture into an empty Ninja CREAMi Pint container. Place the pint in the freezer on a level surface without the lid and freeze for 24 hours. Freezing without the lid prevents a hump that could damage the blade during processing.
  5. Assemble & Spin: After freezing, insert the pint into the Creami outer bowl and lock the lid securely. Place the bowl assembly on the motor base, twist the handle to raise the platform, and lock it in place. Select the Frozen Yogurt program and run it. If the texture isn’t ideal, use the Respin function once.
  6. Enjoy: Remove the pint from the machine and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh raspberries, mini chocolate chips, or fresh mint if desired.

Notes

  • Freezing the pint with the lid off is crucial to avoid damage to the Creami blade caused by an uneven surface.
  • For a different sweetness level, adjust the amount or type of sweetener to your preference.
  • Straining helps create a smooth sherbet by removing raspberry seeds, enhancing the texture.
  • This recipe makes a single serving, perfect for a quick, healthy dessert.
  • Use fresh raspberries for the best flavor, but frozen raspberries can be used if fresh are unavailable.
