Instructions

  1. Butter Your Baking Pan: Butter a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows (reserving 1 cup) and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Add Vanilla and Cereal: Stir in vanilla, then add Rice Krispies and the reserved marshmallows. Mix until well coated.
  4. Press into Pan: Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press it down evenly with a spatula.
  5. Cool and Serve: Let the treats cool for at least an hour before slicing and serving.
