  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt + pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, freshly grated (parmigiano-reggiano recommended)
  • 1/2 a lemon, juice
  • 12 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (to garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare green beans: Place trimmed green beans on the baking sheet. Toss with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread them in an even layer.
  3. Add parmesan: Sprinkle freshly grated parmesan over the green beans, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Roast the green beans: Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and roast for about 20 minutes until the beans are lightly browned, the cheese is melted, and slightly crispy.
