Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter 🧈
  • 10 oz. mini marshmallows 🍡
  • 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal 🥣
  • 2 cups marshmallow Fluff 🍯

Sushi Filling

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or Nutella) 🍫
  • 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers 🍪

Instructions

  1. Make the Rice Krispies Base: In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth. Then, stir in the Rice Krispies cereal ensuring that each piece is thoroughly coated with the marshmallow mixture. Remove the pan from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly so it becomes easier to handle.
  2. Prepare the S’mores Sushi Roll: Lay a large piece of parchment or wax paper on a flat surface. Evenly spread the cooled Rice Krispies mixture over the parchment, pressing gently to form a rectangle. Drizzle the marshmallow Fluff over the center of the Rice Krispies layer and spread it out evenly. Next, sprinkle the crushed graham crackers evenly over the marshmallow Fluff. Finally, drizzle the chocolate chips or Nutella over the graham crackers layer.
  3. Roll and Slice: Using the parchment paper to help guide, carefully roll the Rice Krispies mixture up tightly, forming a sushi roll shape. Once rolled, use a sharp knife to slice the roll into bite-sized pieces resembling sushi rolls.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Arrange the s’mores sushi pieces on a serving plate and enjoy this sweet, playful dessert that combines classic s’mores flavors with a fun sushi-inspired presentation.

Notes

  • Let the Rice Krispies mixture cool enough to handle so it’s easier to spread and roll.
  • Use fresh mini marshmallows as they melt more smoothly, creating a sticky, cohesive mixture.
  • Feel free to customize the sushi filling by swapping Nutella for peanut butter or adding a drizzle of caramel for a different twist.
