Puff Pastry

  • 400g Puff pastry

Fresh Strawberries

  • 100g Fresh Strawberries

Whipped Cream

  • 100ml Whipping cream (sweetened with icing sugar)

Strawberry Jam

  • 8 teaspoons Strawberry jam

White Cocoa Syrup

  • 1 tablespoon White cocoa syrup

Icing Sugar

  • About 2 tablespoons Icing sugar for sprinkling

Melted Chocolate

  • Melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Cut the Puff Pastry

    Cut hearts or rectangles from the puff pastry. If using rectangles, use only half the pastry; if using hearts, use the full 400g. Save off cuts for later use in pies.

  2. Brush with Eggwash and Bake

    Brush the pastry with eggwash and bake until golden and puffed.

  3. Fill the Pastries

    Slice the hearts open and fill with a teaspoon of strawberry jam. Pipe sweetened whipped cream mixed with white cocoa syrup on top. Add fresh strawberries and close the pastry.

  4. Dust and Drizzle

    Dust with icing sugar and drizzle melted chocolate over the top.
