Crust and Topping
- 20 Golden Vanilla Oreos
- ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries
- Additional oreo strawberry crumbs for garnish (optional)
- Strawberry slices for garnish (optional)
Pudding
- 2 packages (3.4 oz each) Instant Jell-o Cheesecake Pudding mix
- 4 cups cold whole milk
- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, diced
Topping
- 1 cup whipped cream (softened Cool Whip or similar)
Serving
- 8–10 four-ounce plastic cups or jars
- Crush Oreos and Freeze-Dried Strawberries: Pulse the Golden Vanilla Oreos and freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor until finely crushed. If you don’t have a food processor, place them in a large ziplock bag and crush using a rolling pin until they become fine crumbs.
- Prepare Cheesecake Pudding Mixture: In a large bowl, whisk together the two pudding mix packages and cold whole milk until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the diced fresh strawberries. Set the mixture aside to allow it to set for about 5 minutes.
- Assemble the Cups: Spoon a layer of the Oreo-strawberry crumbs into the bottom of each plastic cup or jar. Add a layer of the cheesecake pudding on top of the crumbs, then follow with another layer of the crumbs and finish with a final layer of pudding. Place the assembled cups in the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.
- Add Whipped Cream and Garnish: Right before serving, top each pudding cup with about a tablespoon of softened whipped cream. Garnish with additional Oreo-strawberry crumbs and a fresh strawberry slice if desired for presentation and added texture.
Notes
- For best flavor and texture, use cold whole milk straight from the fridge when preparing the pudding.
- Make sure to allow the pudding mixture to set for the full 5 minutes for optimal thickness.
- These pudding cups can be made a few hours ahead and stored covered in the refrigerator.
- Use plastic or glass cups depending on preference for serving or gifting.
- Variations: Substitute fresh strawberries with other berries like raspberries for a different twist.
