Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (100g) crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation)
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp soy sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Bombs:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
  • Oil for frying (or cooking spray for baking/air frying)

Instructions

  1. Cream Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Bombs: Flatten each biscuit round slightly with your hands or a rolling pin. Scoop 1 tablespoon of filling into the center of each round, then fold up the edges and pinch to seal into a ball.
  3. To fry: Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry bombs in small batches, 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
  4. To bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place bombs on a baking sheet, brush with oil, and bake for 12–14 minutes.
  5. To air-fry: Preheat to 375°F (190°C), lightly spray with oil, and cook 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

  • These are fantastic make-ahead appetizers—assemble the bombs, refrigerate for up to 24 hours, and fry or bake just before serving.
  • Canned or imitation crab works great, but drain thoroughly to avoid watery filling.
