Scale

Mocktail Ingredients

  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Soda water or club soda, to top
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh cranberries or lime slices for garnish
  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fill the shaker with ice cubes. Add plenty of ice to chill the mixture effectively.
  2. Add cranberry juice and vanilla extract. Pour in 1 cup of cranberry juice and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract into the shaker.
  3. Shake well until mixed and chilled. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously to combine and chill all ingredients.
  4. Strain into your glass. Pour the cold mixture through a strainer into a serving glass to remove ice.
  5. Top with soda water. Add soda water or club soda to fill the glass, leaving some space at the top for garnish.
  6. Garnish and serve. Decorate with fresh cranberries or lime slices, and add a sprig of mint if desired for an extra touch of freshness.

Notes

  • Use chilled cranberry juice for a colder drink without watering it down.
  • Adjust the amount of vanilla extract to taste for a more or less pronounced flavor.
  • Soda water can be substituted with lemon-lime soda for a sweeter version.
  • The mocktail is best served immediately to maintain the fizzy sparkle of soda water.
  • Mint leaves add a refreshing aroma and flavor if included.
