Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 28 Oreo Sandwich Cookies (Separated into wafers and cream)
  • 34 tbsp Whole Milk (4560 ml)
  • 2 tbsp Cream Cheese (30 g, softened, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Gather all ingredients and separate the Oreo cookies carefully into chocolate wafers and cream filling to prepare for processing.
  2. Deconstruct Cookies: Twist apart the 28 Oreo cookies, scraping the white cream filling into a mixing bowl while placing the chocolate wafers into a food processor for crushing.
  3. Make Cookie Dough: Pulse the Oreo wafers in the food processor until they turn into fine crumbs. Gradually add 3-4 tablespoons of whole milk and knead the mixture until it forms a matte, dark chocolate dough that’s pliable.
  4. Roll Dough: Place the cookie dough between two sheets of plastic wrap and roll it out into a thin rectangle approximately 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick, ensuring an even thickness for good rolling.
  5. Spread Filling: Mix the reserved Oreo cream filling with softened cream cheese if using, until smooth and spreadable. Spread this mixture evenly over the rolled out chocolate dough.
  6. Roll and Chill: Using the plastic wrap, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log shape. Refrigerate the roll for at least 1 hour to allow it to firm up and set properly.
  7. Slice: Once chilled and firm, use a sharp knife to cut the roll into uniform discs. Wipe the knife between cuts to keep the edges clean and highlight the contrast between the dark dough and white filling.

Notes

  • For a richer filling, cream cheese is optional but recommended for added creaminess.
  • Be gentle while rolling out the dough to prevent cracks.
  • Chilling time can be extended up to 2 hours for firmer slices.
  • Serve chilled for best texture and flavor.
